You may have seen Sue Kim stylishly zipping around town on her platinum Vespa scooter! With successful residential deals representing both buyers and sellers alike, from the Upper East Side down to Soho, there is nowhere in Manhattan where this native-New Yorker is not in her element. In record time, Sue and her partner Suzette Meshulam have completely sold out all 58 units of Chatham44, an architecturally-significant new boutique condominium development in the thriving Clinton district! This successful partnership has also awarded them the “Highest Gross Sales” of the entire Halstead Property Development Marketing department during the first half of 2008. Sue also won the “Highest Gross Commissions” in the Midtown Office in April 2009.

Sue brings to Halstead and to the Manhattan real estate community her diverse and unique experiences within the luxury hospitality and interior design industries. Prior to joining Halstead, Sue had honed her skills in the art of personalized service and savvy business acumen by developing and operating restaurant concepts for world-renowned chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, in New York and at the 5-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong. She was also Director of Public Relations & New Business for the highly-acclaimed interior designer Adam D. Tihany, who specializes in the hotels, restaurant/bars.

Sue’s academic accomplishments include, a B.A. in East Asian Art History from Barnard College at Columbia University and an A.A.S. in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design. Sue has traveled extensively throughout the world and speaks Italian and French.

Sue attributes a her positive energy, discipline and inspiration, in part, to her life-long study of classical ballet in New York, San Francisco, Paris, London, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Sue is a member of Halstead’s Gold Circle since 2004 and serves her own Manhattan Cooperative building, as Secretary of the Board of Directors and as Design Committee Director, and is currently leading the renovation of it’s public areas.
