Sue Marcus' reputation as a knowledgeable and professional real estate broker precedes her. Most new clients and customers are referred by those she has worked with in the past. During her 31 years in real estate, she has also earned her peers' respect for her high energy level, trustworthiness, and ability to meet her clients' individual real estate needs.
As a Senior Vice President at Halstead Properties, she continues to be one of the companies top producers, concentrating on the Upper East Side and Upper West Side, specializing in the high end of the cooperative, condominium and townhouse market.
Sue entered the real estate world after having spent many joyous years as a Guidance Counselor and Educator. She attended Tufts University and holds two Masters of Science, one in Guidance and Counseling and the other in Home Economics.
She prides herself that in all her years as a Real Estate broker her purchasers have NEVER had a Co-op Board “turn down". She credits this record to the extensive time and care she gives to all the details in preparation and execution of the “Board Package".
Since Sue had been a member of her own cooperative Board of Directors for 19 years, she feels she has a much better understanding of what a board requires, as well as the desires, needs, concerns, and even complaints of the tenant shareholders.
A native New Yorker, Sue Marcus resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. She spends many enjoyable hours tending to her tomatoes, cucumbers, grapes, herbs, and flowers on her acreage on her 11th floor terrace garden. She also creates and crafts fine gold and silver jewelry. She has traveled throughout the world. "
