Watch My Video Biography

Tom Holmes, the second member of the Holmes Team, has enjoyed a successful sales & marketing career in Manhattan’s financial community, managing business relationships for over 30 years for highly structured Fortune 100 Information Technology Services companies including General Electric and IBM.

To satisfy a strong interest in people, hospitality and the best possible fine dining experience in Manhattan, Tom acquired and operated a successful nouvelle cuisine restaurant with his wife, Catherine, for 3 years in the early 1980's when fine dining hit a high point with the New York City audience. Reviews from the New York Times, Gourmet Magazine and Bon Appetit reflected success in having achieved a high level of hospitality, customer service and satisfaction. The Little Club restaurant was located on Second Avenue at Fiftieth Street.

To satisfy creative interests in sports, Tom served as President of the Metropolitan New York Rugby Union for a number of years and has recently invented and patented a courtside scoreboard for the tennis industry. Tom has a strong commitment to public service and interest in contributing to the New York City community. During his 8 years at GE, Tom mentored young high school students through the GE College-Bound Program, spent 25 years with Big Brothers of Manhattan and was Executive Director of Riverside Park Sports Field Corporation dedicated to raising $4M to build a sports field facility for youth sports programs in the West Harlem community of Morningside Heights. He also serves as VP Administration for the New York Amateur Sports Alliance (NYASA).

As a parent, Tom and his wife raised two children in Manhattan who attended both public and private schools. Both Tom and Catherine served on PTA boards, coached soccer teams, and raised money for the schools their children attended.

As a dedicated New Yorker for over 40 years, Tom Holmes has advised many people on the specific solutions to the challenges of buying or selling a co-op or condo property in Manhattan. As a Vice President at Halstead Property, Tom is enjoying great satisfaction in guiding Manhattan residents, or prospective residents, to find the right life-style solutions living in New York and enjoying the best possible experience. "I love New York City." says Holmes. "I love living here and understand its great beating heart. My clients and customers have referred me often saying how much they appreciate the value of my always being available to them, providing the product knowledge and personal approach they want.”

Tom invites you to contact him anytime to discuss your residential needs in selling or buying a Manhattan property. Holmes feels, “buying or selling a Manhattan coop, condominium or brownstone property is more than a transaction - it's an emotional connection to who you are. I offer my absolute best to you based on the truth, and I look forward to helping you realize your New York City residential dreams."
