Being a native New Yorker, Anthony can’t imagine living anywhere else. A lifetime New Yorker from Manhattan to Monticello to Montauk, Anthony is committed to showing off all that New York has to offer to his clientele. From primary homes to vacation homes and investment properties, Anthony tries to approach every deal with a long term plan for the buyer/seller.
Anthony’s diverse background provides the backdrop to his unique approach to real estate. He began his career as a history teacher. “I always thought I would spend my life dividing my time between dusty libraries and attempting to explain the importance of the Schleswig-Holstein crisis to bored underclassmen,” he says. Anthony was working his way through grad school as a caterer when he decided to take a break and go to cooking school – this lead to a career as a chef. Working in the demanding world of New York City restaurants instilled in Anthony a strong ethic towards service to his clientele.
The demands of that profession were not conducive to being a single father. He searched for a career which would offer greater flexibility. Anthony happened into his real estate career in the course of looking for an apartment for himself and his son combined with the need to have more flexible hours. Real estate combines Anthony’s research skills, passion for New York and the hands on gratification of both his academic and culinary backgrounds.
“I truly do love New York. Sometimes I walk around the city late at night or just before dawn and have to pinch myself because I can’t believe I live here!”
