Before coming to Halstead, Xanthe enjoyed a successful career as a literary agent at William Morris, representing the interests of some of the most popular and acclaimed writers of our time. William Morris was the perfect laboratory to hone her diplomacy, shrewd negotiating skills, and ability to quickly assess the spoken and unspoken needs of clients and buyers in order to get good deals done.
Xanthe has lived in the Village since 1991, where she came to study theater at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. An adopted New Yorker, she has never lost the passion she felt for the city as a child in 1978, visiting Central Park for the first time. When all her clients are happy, Xanthe can be found studying yoga, in theater audiences, lingering in bookstores, composting at the Union Square Greenmarket, and volunteering at Grace Church School.
