Al Delaney has over 15 years of experience in developing, managing, and executing innovative design concepts, strengthening brand identity, and increasing market exposure. He has a proven talent for concept development, from idea to the final aesthetic of a wide variety of advertising and marketing materials in all media. As Creative Director, Al works closely with the Halstead in-house art staff and is responsible for creative direction and implementation. His work has been published online in print in a great number of NYC publications and websites.
Starting with the title of Designer with Halstead in 2005, Al has worked his way to Senior Designer, Art Director, and finally Creative Director over the years. In that time, he has been heavily involved in 2 complete Halstead rebrands, most recently in 2018. He is responsible for workflow and the successful completion of many time sensitive creative projects including web design, multimedia, social media graphics, marketing materials, magazine/newspaper ads, brochures, and personal promotion pieces among many others.
Al has a love of art and enjoys designing, drawing, painting, and visiting galleries in his free time. He is passionate about staying on top of the latest trends and integrating innovative solutions into all forms of design work.
A Manhattan native, Al graduated from Stockton University in 2003 with a degree in Computer Graphics and Graphic Design. He studied Graphic Design and Fine Art, specifically painting, sculpting and etching, at Scuola Lorenzo de Medici in Florence, Italy in the Fall of 2001. Florence remains his favorite place on earth.
