At The Langston, a new life comes fully furnished

Buyers who purchase one of the last remaining 3 bedroom duplex penthouses at Gotham Organization’s The Langston – a luxury condominium development at 68 Bradhurst Avenue in Harlem’s historic Hamilton Heights – will receive their apartment fully furnished for no additional cost.

The Langston has only four homes left for sale, all of which are duplex penthouses priced below $1 million and come replete with pristine model furniture gracing every room.

“This is an incredible opportunity for someone relocated to New York City to not only have a luxury 3-bedroom penthouse for the price of many one bedroom apartments south of 96th Street, but also to have one fully furnished,” said Halstead’s Sid Whelan, lead sales agent for The Langston. “And this is not just any furniture, but desirable, modern pieces that have been coveted by most everyone that has walked through our doors.”

Christina Casanas, set designer and interior decorator from Me and General Design, designed all of the model units, said the all-inclusive sets being offered in the penthouses at the Langston would cost a buyer up to $70,000, and emphasizes that the design strategy used was intended to appeal to a multitude of tastes.

Whelan noted that the key to a successful model unit is when the prospective buyer walks into the apartment and can envision himself already living there. “And that’s exactly what happened with The Langston, many of the buyers asked for the decorator’s business card; we are now in the unique position of being able to give the last four buyers the entire package as a perk just for living here.”
