Halstead Property Development Marketing has launched a new stand-alone real estate development web site ( www.halsteadpdm.com), thought to be the first development-specific site created by any of the city’s major brokerage firms.
The new site focuses specifically on all of Halstead’s development properties and was created to offer potential buyers a more user-friendly experience throughout the search process.
The site was designed by John Marshall of Inoventiv Corp, which has also created sites for Thrifty Rent-A-Car, Renault UK and United Nations World Food Programme.
It includes overviews of each building and provides snapshot views to compare price, square footage, floor plans, amenities and more. The site’s Google Map feature shows the location of each, and the proximity to other developments in the same area.
“When it comes to developments, there’s never before been one web site where buyers looking for properties could find all of the information they needed in the same place,” said Stephen G. Kliegerman, executive director of Halstead Property Development Marketing,
According to Halstead’s recently issued Quarterly Real Estate Market Report, more than one third of all real estate closings in the second quarter were in developments, where prices averaged $1,421 per square foot.
The division currently represents such notable Brooklyn developments as Toren, 20 Henry and Rockwell Place.
