She consistently sells most of her exclusives at or above the asking price. She has been written up in the National Relocation Newsletter regarding her service to her customers. She was nominated by the Real Estate Board of New York for the "Deal of the Year" award for orchestrating an unusually complex residential transaction. Amelia is a member of Halstead Property’s producers council and the prestigious private brokerage council. She was also named Top Broker of the Week in all of NYC by the “Real Deal”, an industry news magazine.
She meticulously pre-screens buyers well before contract signing and is detailed about the cooperative board package preparation, condominium and townhouse sale requirements. Her direct, personalized approach, integrity, intuition and sensitivity to her buyers and sellers special needs are what have always set her apart. Amelia was born on the Upper West Side and has lived there most of her life. She has sold in excess of half a Billion dollars worth of residential property. She has worked with a diverse group of people including well-known sports figures, producers, writers, artists and business people. She has twice the usual buyers and sellers due to her connections with producers, club owners and recording artists. Amelia's background in music, art and advertising has served her well in marketing exclusives. She lives on the Upper West Side with her husband Harold Stephan, a television jingle writer and record producer. Buyers and sellers often refer to her as the "Best Broker on the Island".
