Art has more than 24 years’ experience in real estate sales and development as a broker and private investor, both in the U.S. and overseas. Associated with Halstead for more than 18 years, he has developed nearly $1 billion in real estate sales, placing him in the top echelon among his peers in New York’s real estate industry. He is a member of the Platinum Circle and Producer’s Council for the highest producing sales performers company-wide. He is also a recent winner of the company’s Service Award given for "exemplary service, resourcefulness, and creativity" in completing a major transaction.

Satisfied clients on both the buy and sell sides include many of the most recognizable names in industry, media, entertainment, and politics. He is known for his skill and creativity dealing with complex real estate transactions, particularly moving purchasers successfully through the intricacies of Manhattan’s most difficult co-op boards; he has represented both buyers and sellers in a number of notable townhouse sales. His expertise and knowledge of the Manhattan condominium market is relied upon by several international investment groups for the purchase of investment properties in New York.
Art is often called upon by the TV and print real estate media to comment on the state of the New York residential market.
In addition to his New York-based sales responsibilities, Art is Director of Partnership Efforts between Halstead and Roman developer Pagus srl for the sales and marketing of farmhouse and villa properties and condominiums in Tuscany and Orvieto, Italy to the U.S. market.
Art's previous experience includes executive-level marketing positions in advertising and publishing as well as international sales and marketing with U.S. export trading companies dealing with foreign business groups and government agencies in Europe and the Middle East.

Art was even invited to try out for the NY Jets as a free agent. He earned his graduate degree in Comparative Literature from Columbia University and served as a Senior Administrative Officer of the University for Development and Public Relations.
