I know how to effectively navigate markets, I love to market homes, I enjoy matching buyers to their new properties, I thrive on negotiation, and I have a great time exceeding the expectations of my clients.
Named one of “Manhattan’s Premier Brokers” by NY Living magazine, I frequently get my sellers extra press for their homes – I do by regularly appearing as a real estate expert on NBC, PBS, CBS, FOX, CNN, CNBC, and in the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, NY Magazine, Financial Times, NY Observer, NY Sun, & NY Post. Frequently promoting my clients’ properties to the press, I cite them as market anecdotes to get my sellers’ homes more notice. NBC’s NY LIVE gave me my own weekly on-camera real estate segment, I’ve served as an on-camera host for HGTV’s National Open House, as a property expert for the BBC, and I regularly feature my clients’ homes on NBC’s Open House NYC. The original property videos that I produce for my sellers’ homes generate much interest and many leads for my clients from around the world.
I lead seminars for my fellow agents on how to effectively market homes and work with buyers, and I’m privileged to serve as a speaker for the Real Estate Board of New York’s Masters Series talks on successfully selling property and properly serving clients. For Habitat for Humanity – an organization to which I donate a portion of every commission – I serve as a Board Member for Brokers Build NY.
I’ve sold condos, co-ops, townhouses, and lofts all over New York: Upper Westside, Upper Eastside, Harlem, Midtown East and West, Chelsea, Nolita, Greenwich Village, Washington Heights, Tribeca, Soho, Inwood, Riverdale, East Village, Lower Eastside, the Flatiron and Financial Districts, all over Brooklyn and in Long Island City. Beyond my work in New York, I’ve built a global property network, and I employ it to link contacts all over the world to agents whom I deem effective for my clients.

Born in Richmond, VA, I was raised in Atlanta, GA, and Charlotte, NC. I graduated from The College of William and Mary, with a double concentration in Government and Theatre. My studies also took me to Paris, where I developed my conversational fluency in French, and to North Carolina School of the Arts, where I studied acting. I fulfilled a lifelong dream when I moved to New York. While working at the Four Seasons (bellman) and Ritz-Carlton (sales) Hotels, I studied with legendary actress Uta Hagan. I’ve played roles Off-Broadway, on TV, in Films, in numerous TV/Radio commercials, and have voiced several audiobooks. My true joy and success, however, was discovered when I began selling homes. I enjoy my work because I enjoy pleasing my clients. Once my clients are perfectly happy, I like to bike ride along the Hudson, study New York City history, ride (and jump) horses, and travel. I’ve explored many exciting destinations around the USA, Europe, and South America, but my favorite place is still New York City. I’ve lived in this incredible city since 1991 – Downtown, Midtown, and currently in a wonderful Prewar Co-op I own on the Upper Westside where I live with my family, and where I served on my building’s Board of Directors.
