Christy is a real estate sales professional with nine years of experience in the Hoboken, Jersey City, and the Gold Coast marketplace. As her customer base moved towards the suburbs so did she. Christy has extensive knowledge of the most sought after NYC commuter suburbs that also have great schools. She has lived in Northern New Jersey for most of her life and grew up in Nutley, NJ. After graduating from Rutgers with a B.A. in Urban Studies, she worked in municipal Planning & Zoning and also taught elementary school.
Christy enjoys working with a wide range of clientele including: recent grads looking for their first apartment, international corporate relocation renters, landlords, investors, first-time buyers filled with excitement, and sellers who are ready for an upgrade or looking to cash out. Christy really listens to her buyers' needs and works to make the home buying process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. She loves answering questions and educating clients on the market so they feel empowered and confident with their decision.
Christy's sellers know that she gives them an effective pricing strategy that will sell their property, not let it sit on the market. She gets the most qualified buyers into her sellers' homes so they can get the best deal possible in whatever the desired timeframe. Christy has years of experience organizing, painting, cleaning, doing repairs and staging. Some of Christy’s favorite sellers to work with have been 'For Sale By Owners,' as they understood after trying to market a property themselves that Christy actually ended up saving them money.
When she is not busy with clients, you can find her at the beach or walking her beloved rescue pup. Christy is active in Cavalier King Charles puppy mill rescue.
In her own words: "I'm so excited to be a part of Halstead's New Jersey office. It's the firm that will allow me to serve my customers at the exceptional level they deserve." Christy most previously worked at Toll Brothers prior to re-joining Halstead.
"I planned on selling my two bedroom condo myself and Christy contacted me. I've had negative experiences with brokers in the past but she's refreshing and honest. She handled every aspect of the deal and my only job was to cash my check after the closing. Highly recommend." M. Mevey"Thank you for always finding me the best tenants again and again, and keeping me up to date with all of the changes and new developments happening in Hoboken." N. Fitzpatrick"My future husband and I used Christy to help us find our new home to start our lives together. We never felt pressured and absolutely love our new home. Extremely impressed-great negotiating skills and advice during a bidding war. She knows every building in town and got us exactly where we want to be." - E. & B. Thompson

There isn’t anything I love more than Cavaliers, except maybe Instagram. That’s where I met @toastmeetsworld, a Cavalier puppy-mill rescue who has no teeth, and whose tongue hangs out like a cute hobo. The reason I’m obsessed is because my own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a retired breeder’s dog has...
