Dave works with a number of multi-million dollar properties; his first accomplishment was selling his first property for 10% over asking price and setting a new record in east Bedford-Stuyvesant. He soon followed that up with another record sale over asking price in central Bedford-Stuyvesant for 20% above asking price. This agent is at the top of his game and only getting better.
Brooklyn born and raised, Dave Lewin has grown up in one of the most culturally diverse boroughs in New York. He graduated with his BA from Brooklyn College where he majored in Elementary Education and minored in Philosophy. His love for learning and his city has led him to work as a New York City teacher, photojournalist, and SAG/AFTRA actor working with major commercial clients such as: Coca Cola, Colgate, and Chase Manhattan to name a few.
Dave’s personal journey allows him to appreciate his clients’ needs as they look for the next place to call home in their own journeys. If you are looking for a real estate agent who is well-versed in Brooklyn neighborhoods and hot spots as well as the intricacies involved in purchasing or owning a property, then Dave is your guy. He enjoys enlightening his clients with key information which empowers them to make a sound decision with more confidence and security.
In addition to being a successful real estate agent, Dave is a member of The Brooklyn College Alumni Association, SAG/AFTRA, and the Real Estate Board of New York. He’s also an amateur salsa dancer and in his free time enjoys social dancing around the city.
His favorite quote is: "Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." – Howard T.
"What impressed us the most was him being completely available, regardless of the time difference, as well as his communicating consistently with us. We were left completely worriless and after the first of two open houses (only one was needed), Dave contacted us with a dozen "well over asking" offers." – Michael H.
"Dave Lewin was my broker for the purchase of my co-op apartment in Brooklyn. I was a first-time buyer and had a very specific budget to work with. I found Dave to be very knowledgeable about the neighborhood in Brooklyn I was interested in as well as the surrounding area...The process of buying a co-op is long and stressful, and Dave stood by my side and was positive and supportive through it all." – Alwyn M.
"[Dave], along with his team members, have a top notch approach to client service. They were able to get us results in a fairly short amount of time. Overall, it was a very smooth transition from listing to close." – R. H., from Trulia review
"Mr. Lewin (Dave) proved himself to be the consummate professional in seeking a tenant for my rental property...He provided timely updates regarding applicants, identified potential issues with the apartment and the co-op board, and made pertinent recommendations…I am definitely a pleased customer and highly recommend his realty service." – W. R.
"Dave was phenomenal; we had two brokers trying to rent our apartment for over seven months. Dave steps in and finds a renter in three weeks. He navigates with grace and compassion, helping you accomplish the goal at hand. " – Jud & Nancy P.
