John Engel is a dynamic agent who offers his clients an impressive breadth of real estate knowledge.

He has been a top producing agent in New Canaan for the last three years. He worked previously in Greenwich for the firm Cleveland Duble & Arnold. John is a member of the New Canaan Zoning Board of Appeals and well-versed in land use and zoning issues in town. He is also the owner of commercial buildings in downtown New Canaan and a multi-family residential property. Along with his knowledge of all residential property in our area, John is a tremendous resource in the areas of both real estate investment and development.

John also brings an insight into internet-based marketing that is unsurpassed. Before going into real estate he was the founder of two successful Internet businesses.

John is a member of the Town Council, on the Board of Staying Put in New Canaan, a member of the New Canaan Rotary Club, and was instrumental in the formation of the New Canaan Outback Teen Center. He grew up in New Canaan before attending Davidson College in North Carolina. After graduating, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army. He lives in New Canaan with his wife and four children.
