John Frenzer is approaching his 15th year anniversary with Halstead, now in Montclair, NJ and as a broker in New York City (to reach his New York page click here).

A long-time NYC resident, John is the great-grandson of immigrants - his grandfather John Quinn was born at home on East 47th Street in 1886. Real estate became the family business. Today, John carries on a tradition of excellence with the utmost discretion in service of notable clients that include Grammy, Tony, and Academy Award winners as well as the elite of the financial services and advertising industries.

Many of those same clients looked to John for assistance in their transitions into the leafy towns of the Montclair area where he is a homeowner raising his two young children. An expert on the public school system and Board Member of an esteemed Reggio-Emilia nursery school, John was able to guide them into a new phase of suburban life with a cosmopolitan identity. As Halstead expanded into Hoboken, NJ John was fully able to assist his Montclair bound clients in their home purchases, quietly honing new skills and forging great relationships while Halstead carefully planned a formal expansion west.

Licensed in both states, John is equally fluent in the NYC coop and condo application process and in the challenges in buying and selling large suburban luxury homes in NJ. This very rare set of qualifications was garnered from years of service and support to his client’s evolving needs.
