Laura Hines Bickmeyer’s first job was sweeping the sidewalk in front of her mother’s real estate office as a pre-teen in the Midwest. Though she would not formally enter the real estate world until much later, she developed a strong work ethic early and understands the importance of home and what it takes to help you buy, sell, or rent yours with honesty, persistence, discretion, taste, and attention to detail.
Having grown up in South Dakota and worked in both Moscow and New York, Laura came to Fairfield County when she and her husband fell in love with the coastal lifestyle and relocated from Manhattan over 13 years ago. She works in Darien, lives in a renovated 1800s farmhouse in Rowayton, has a daughter in school in Greenwich, and a son who will be starting school in Stamford this fall.
Prior to becoming a realtor, Laura was a fashion designer. Through collaboration, communication, seeking out new materials, and managing relationships, Laura channeled her taste, eye for detail, and ability to spot trends to create sought-after collections, and led teams in translating vision into reality within budget.
