Top Grossing Agent - April 2016 - West Side Office
Top 1% 2nd Quarter 2016

Marsha Andrews’s passion for real estate is born of the reality she is hard-wired to help people and find harmonious solutions to every challenge. What better way to help than finding a home to suit the dreams, needs, and tastes of a buyer or renter and, conversely, finding the perfect price and buyer for the seller?

Marsha is originally from the Midwest but has lived in New York City for more than 30 years. She knew immediately upon arrival she was finally home, currently as a resident of the Upper West Side. As time is always of the essence, buyers, sellers and renters appreciate her extensive knowledge of Manhattan, the real estate market climate and her relentless expedition to help her clients reach their goals.

Having enjoyed a fulfilling career singing opera, concerts, oratorios, and recitals throughout the USA and Europe, Marsha seamlessly translates her opera stage mis-en-scène vision to real estate.

Before coming to real estate, Marsha had more than 17 years’ experience as a manager in sales of high-end merchandise. She has a trained eye for quality and her goal has been to research every minute detail- no matter what the task- and knows when and how to close the deal.

Marsha earned a BA in music and French from Alma College, an MM in vocal performance from The Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western University, and a Diplôme de Langue Française and Certificat de Français parlé from L'Alliance Française and L'Institut Catholique, Paris. She is fluent in French and Italian and has a working knowledge of German. She is also a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), has a love for life and people and a commitment to excellence.

“Looking for a new home can be enjoyable, but it is often stressful. Marsha really understands the many challenges one encounters in this process and her knowledge and positive attitude helped us navigate the maze of protocol and paperwork that is the New York City real estate market. We now live in a lovely apartment thanks to her, and I appreciate her patience and perseverance.” – R.N.
“Marsha couldn't have been more helpful. Since I was a first-time buyer I had many questions and anxieties. She was incredibly sensitive to my schedule and time constraints and always helped me remember deadlines. She had immediate answers for all of my questions and has a large pool of resources. After she sold me my condominium, I asked her to help me find a renter. She was thorough and careful and I'm very pleased with the result. Marsha is a gem and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to buy or rent an apartment.” - Ann S.
“I know several residential real estate agents that understand the Manhattan cooperative and condominium markets very well. But only one person would I recommend 1000%, Marsha Andrews. Why? Numerous reasons but most relevant are the following: (1) experience; (2) works for one of the most prestigious Manhattan real estate firms, Halstead Property; (3) personality (down to earth, a Midwestern woman); and most importantly (4) hungry with a relentless drive to satisfy her clients and do so with grace. I have known Marsha for 12 years, she was a neighbor on the Upper West Side and for the record Marsha is an accomplished opera singer. I highly encourage you to use her services. I would bet my twin girls on her!” - David H.
“Marsha came to the rescue in the middle of a long and arduous search for a new apartment. She found me a great apartment that fit all of my requirements. She was also persistent in tracking down and following up with the agents at another real estate company who had promised, and then not delivered, money back when a deal fell through.” - Minda A.
“Marsha is easy going, non-assuming, personable and she is honest and works really closely with the client. She is a good listener so she understands what the client wants. She helped us find a great apartment on the Upper West Side, in which we have been happily living in for the last eight months. I appreciated all that she did and she found us the best apartment in NYC. I would definitely work with her for my next home.” - Peter L. & Eric Yu
“Marsha is a rare breed in the world of realtors: her top priority is that she actually wants her clients to find the best home. She is honest, easy to be around, works hard and also has an excellent way of diffusing tense situations that may occur during the process of finding a living space.” - Peter C.
“Marsha is a great friend and supporter. I would not have found the home of my dreams without her expertise and caring, knowledge and honesty. I have known her for many years and this aspect of her talent has proven to be another seal of a great rapport and talent!” - Juliette S.
“The only thing worse than moving - and the horrors of packing and unpacking - is selling your current abode and buying a new one. Wherever you are in that process, the only way to survive with your sanity intact is to have an ally. Enter Marsha Andrews, a consummate professional who will listen (there's a lost art) to you and what you're looking for and then mobilize her resources and apply her knowledge and multiple skills on your behalf. Call Marsha and you will discover one of the most caring human beings in the real estate business- a pro who routinely works around the clock on behalf of her clients. How do I know? I'm a former client. A satisfied client. A grateful client. And I highly recommend her.” - Sanford E.
