Recipient of Halstead’s Rising Star Award, 2017
Meghan Athnos is a Stamford native whose longtime interest in and appreciation for architecture and interiors attracted her to a career in real estate. It’s her passion for helping people; her desire to build lifelong relationships with her clients; and her commitment to serve as a resource and consultant before, during, and after a transaction that make real estate the perfect fit.
Prior to her career in real estate, Meghan worked in marketing and public relations serving as a day-to-day lead on design, hospitality, and lifestyle accounts. She strategized and implemented public relations plans for her clients using traditional media relations, social media initiatives, events, and grassroots marketing. Meghan’s interest in interior design later led her to HGTV’s Property Brothers, where she supported design leads and talent on various residential remodels of the Emmy-nominated reality program in Fairfield and Westchester counties.
Meghan’s background, strong local market knowledge, and deep roots in the community offer a well-rounded skill set for her real estate clients. She uses her marketing experience and creativity to position properties in a way that often offers out-of-the-box solutions, leading to favorable results. Meghan also makes use of her interior design experience by helping sellers get their property ready for market, recommending action items, and even physically assisting with staging efforts. When working with buyers, Meghan’s expertise lies in her ability to translate her client’s unique needs into a plan that moves from dream to execution.
Known for her honest and ethical approach, Meghan is driven by the belief that communication and transparency are integral to a successful real estate transaction. When you engage Meghan as your real estate partner, you enter a winning client-focused relationship based on integrity, smart strategies, and collaboration. Meghan currently lives in North Stamford and loves the area for its tranquility, charm, and proximity to all that downtown Stamford and Long Island Sound have to offer. In her free time, she enjoys reading, antiquing, and spending time with her Shih Tzu, Lulu.
“Meghan marketed and sold a house and a condo for us during 2018. She went above and beyond in helping us with the marketing efforts, staging, photography, open houses, and the various ‘errands’ with regards to the properties that helped us out a lot. She is very knowledgeable and professional and I highly recommend her. She was a pleasure to work with.” – Julie F."Meghan was an absolute pleasure to work with! She listened to our ‘must-haves’ and provided insight on the areas we were looking to live. We would get constant updates on homes that came and left the market. Meghan was quick to respond to our questions via email and phone. Our closing didn’t go exactly as scheduled and Meghan stepped up to make sure she did all she could to not delay us further. We definitely wouldn’t have closed when we did if it wasn’t for her eagerness to get the job done. We are so thankful for her in finding us the most perfect home suited for our family!" – Tara C.
