Susan Goldy established her own Riverdale agency, Susan E. Goldy, Inc. specializing in the sale and rental of residential real estate in 1981 and is now the Director of the Susan Goldy Team at Halstead Property. Her company earned high marks in the Riverdale community and well beyond for its integrity, professionalism and reliability and now combined with Halstead Property’s resources and support, it makes for the perfect union.
Susan’s interest in real estate industry issues grew through her involvement with with the Bronx Manhattan North Association of Realtors, eventually serving two terms as its President in 1995 and 1996.
At the New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR), Susan served on and chaired many committees. Susan has taken on the challenge of becoming even more involved in a leadership role and most recently served as the 2012 President of NYSAR.
Members of Congress, state and local elected officials often hear from Susan when she is advocating the Realtor’s position on potential or pending legislation affecting consumers and real estate practitioners.
Susan’s strong interests in the growth and vitality of her community and of her borough led her to become a staunch supporter of many institutions in the Bronx. She has served on the board of directors for numerous organizations.
Susan has participated on panel discussions, had speaking engagements. She has been a guest writer for real estate publications, appeared on TV and has often been interviewed by reporters for TV and newspaper articles.
