Prior to his devotion to real estate Tad spent 35 years in the publishing and marketing businesses. This included 13 years in advertising sales and management for major consumer magazines in New York City before transitioning to marketing and manufacturing In-Store Media products, where he started and ran his own business for 18 years. As an entrepreneur he grew his Company from 1 to 25 employees and revenues from zero to over $10,000,000 while selling product to virtually every B to C Fortune 500 Corporation. Believing that the fun part of any business is dealing with people he nurtured relationships with everyone from top-level marketing managers to young professional procurement staff. An added benefit to his career includes extensive international experience, both business and personal, and he maintains a large network of contacts from every continent…except Antarctica.

After trading Manhattan for the suburbs, Tad has lived in southern Fairfield County for the past 32 years building an intimate knowledge of the area, including Greenwich, Stamford, New Canaan, Wilton, and most recently Norwalk. He spent a decade as a Metro North commuter, owned homes in most of the towns he resided in, and has been a corporate tenant in numerous buildings within the County. In 2007 he and a partner started a New Canaan based Restaurant, which continues to thrive today.

With market expertise so crucial to any business he knows that this longevity and diversity will serve his clients well. Then add his tenacity and a love of work to Halstead’s State-of-the-Art marketing tools and award winning support staff, and you get satisfaction guaranteed… what the client wants, the client gets.

As a teenager he spent two year living in India, and has since nurtured a strong interest in understanding human diversity with international travel as varied as backwater Amazonia, rural China, and most of the capitols of Europe. This has led to an appreciation for rich and diverse cultures and a very objective view of the world.

Over the years Tad has supported an entire Nepalese village for Save-The-Children; a local therapeutic group home for adolescent girls in crisis called Project Return; and Breast Cancer research. Tad has two grown daughters and graduated from St. Lawrence University with a BA in English Writing. In addition to being a passionate traveler and he is an avid golfer and an armchair historian.
