Chris Halstead and Sharon Fahy, having collaborated often, created a partnership to service clients by leveraging their collective experience, enthusiasm and expertise. They enlisted the talent of several real estate professionals to help them accomplish their aim and formed THE HALSTEAD | FAHY Team.

The partnership focus is on both the Residential and Commercial RE markets, providing expertise to Sellers, Buyers, Real Estate Owner-Investors and Sponsors as well. Their Team includes agents Ward Eagan, Lisa Mathias and Chris Totaro, who have each honed their business and real estate skill sets in New York. The team also benefits from having Eloise Johnson, a legend in Manhattan RE, and Clark Halstead, founder of Halstead Property, as active consultants. All combined, their depth of experience makes them one of the most comprehensive, full-service groups in the City.

Collectively, the Team has sold over half a billion dollars of real estate in the last seven years. Chris and Sharon have both been leading producers at Halstead and are consistently in the top 1% of the firm’s brokers in the last five years.

The Team’s common thread is the importance of the Client, whether a Seller, Purchaser or Investor, and to serve them with integrity, and a keen sense of responsibility and accountability. Sharon Fahy

Sharon enjoys a considered reputation in real estate and has been very successful on both the seller and buyer side of transactions. She is consistently a member of the Producer’s Council, in the top 2% of the firm’s brokers and ranked as one of America’s Best Real Estate Agents in New York for 2017.Clients benefit from her business acumen and discretion; they commend her collaborative approach. She has served as Board President in her Co-op and commended for her ‘dedication, fiduciary responsibility and vision’.

Sharon’s knowledge of the residential market across neighborhoods has been instrumental in her success in Manhattan. Her ability to help clients make the transition and investment...whether a grand pre-war apartment on the UES/UWS, a post-war pied-a-terre in the Village Gold Coast, a luxury restoration of a classic SoHo loft, or New Development...she has their goals top of mind.

Christopher Halstead

Whether you are a buyer or a seller, Chris is adamant about providing the time and attention you require and desire. Chris prides himself on a reputation that places customer service above all else. His personal approach and that of the whole Team is to listen intently, offer straightforward guidance and respond accordingly in a timely and efficient manner.

From Tribeca to the Upper East Side, Harlem to the Financial District, Chris has a deep understanding of most Manhattan neighborhoods. His knowledge of townhouses, condos and coops is widespread, as is his understanding and experience through the board process. As an agent, Chris commits fully to delivering honest and attentive guidance while maintaining a constant focus on the entire transaction process, from the initial consult with his customer through to closing. At the foundation of his success is his collaborative and congenial approach with customers and colleagues alike, working in both the residential and commercial arenas.

Ward Eagan

Ward Eagan brings commercial expertise to the group. Ward (licensed as Edward Eagan) successfully works with investors, developers and commercial property owners to help align their real estate needs and business objectives, optimize property positioning, identify value-add opportunities and execute complex transactions. Ward has been part of Chris Halstead’s Commercial group since 2013. Earlier in his career, he sold in the residential arena in Westchester and in Manhattan. He developed excellent networking skills, and aspired to creating a rolodex of real estate connections that have been the foundation for his commercial real estate business.

Lisa Mathias

Lisa Mathias transitioned her career into Real Estate several years ago. Earlier, she worked in Marketing and Finance and many of those skills were easily transportable to the world of real estate. Her communications skills are excellent, and enable her to work well with all types of personalities.

The interests of her clients are a priority, and she guides them successfully through the selling or buying process with ease and elegance. Lisa is creative, a problem solver and earns the trust of her clients. A positive force on the team, she believes that with the proper guidance and attitude, all is achievable.

Christopher Totaro

Joining the team was the natural evolution of having worked on projects independently with Chris Halstead over the last 2 years. The two languages spoken in NYC real estate are residential and commercial; Christopher Totaro is uniquely bilingual. His broad experience is derived from the past 12 years as a builder-developer and real estate investor in NYC and East Hampton.

Having been the buyer and the seller multiple times, Chris understands the needs of both. His knowledge of construction and investing as well as being a Certified Negotiations Expert is a tremendous value-add to the team. Chris’s decision to originally join Halstead Property was based on having been a client multiple times and being impressed with the integrity, highly personalized service and, of course, the technology. Chris is a longtime resident of TriBeCa, and an accomplished artist.
